I photographed this bull moose in Grand Teton National Park during a October snow... In this image I tried to show the moose in it's habitat.

    Canon 20D, EF100-400IS @ 100mm, ISO 800, 1/50th @ F13, +2/3 comp in evaluative.

I like the composition and mood a lot. The orange leaves make it really special.

This is beautiful, Dale. Love the composition and of course the snow combined with the fall colors. Beauty!

I like the composition a lot - perfect placement for the moose. Great environmental scene with wonderful colors.

I love good photos of animals in their environment and this is exactly what this image is . . . but I also like the fact that it's like a painting.

A lovely scene and a very good photo as is, I am just curious if you also managed to get a photo of a moose in this environment made from closer range with a shorter focal length and from a lower angle (same level as the moose). I think that could have resulted in an even better photo, though I understand it may not be so easy to get close to a wild moose ...

I think this is a great shot. It seems the older I get the more I like wildlife landscapes. Close up images are nice, but these are the kind I would hang on the wall.

I feel that a lower camera angle might have introduced some sky into the image, I would not change anything. It is awesome as is.
    Best, Howard.

Wow, Robert, this is as good a moose-scape as it gets. Maybe even better than Mangelsons shot of the moose in Denali

I love this scene! The colors in the aspens and fresh snow really add two great components to this image. You did very well here! :)
