    This is along the road to Kensington Metropark in Oakland County, Michigan, just outside the Detroit suburbs. Shot near sundown after a fresh snow, December 2007.

    Nikon D80, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 @ 17mm, f/9, 1/160s, ISO400.

    Hi Bruce... I like what you were doing here with the fence leading from the lower right corner into the frame. Nice light for sure. I might have stepped back or recomposed to include the top of the tree line along the top of the image.

    John captured my thoughts on that one tree. Light is good. The BG trees look a bit soft to me.

    Hey Bruce,
    John got my tree clipping......but I do like the balance of the fence and the trees but do wonder if even more shadow play in the snow would further enhance the lighting??? Maybe minimizing the amount of fence and just use a few sections as they are so graphic??? Just thoughts for exploration.

    Like the light here Bruce. The clipped tree is a bit bothersome which has already been mentioned by John.
    Liked the way the zig-zag fence runs across the diagonal.
