    Photographed in March '07 at Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe, CA, around 6:30 am. :eek:
    I tried to capture the blue-metallic shine of the lake that morning.

    Lovely and serene. I think you could crop a bit off the top to take the horizon out of the middle of the frame.. You may need a bit of CW rotation also.

    John,
    While you do have separation between the treeline in the foreground and the island, it would have been better to have created more clearance by moving your location and shift the island to the left.

    Thank you for your comments. You're right about increasing the separation between the foreground treeline and the island. I couldn't change my position though without climbing onto some icy and steep rocks. I'll try again another time. JR

    Hi John,

    I really like the feel of this image. I also agree that you should not have risked injury to better the composition. You can do no more than stand at the edge of a precipice. :eek: Nice work.:cool:
