    From Fort DeSoto Had some heavy running with the 500 lens to catch up with the sailboat !!! For these type images you want to use as much focal length as you can to render the sun large

    Gorgeous Al. The composition does not bother me for this type of image but the bottom part of the image does.

    Alfred,

    I think if you crop off some/a lot of the black bottom out, the centralizing of the subject will become stronger. I think this is a well-seen opportunity.

    Sweet. Way graphic! I would have pointed the camera a bit to the right to get the better clouds. That and a bit less saturation.
