    This is one of several images I took of the Phoebe while out in Bosque last Novemeber.

    Nikon D2X
    Nikon 600mm F4.
    1/1600, F7.1
    Iso 400

    Haven't seen one of these before. I am assuming a crop as it seems quite noisy.

    I Iike the light,colors and the bg(I agree that is little noisy)!

    The light... The BG... The colors.... The Perch... The composition... The painterly feel of the image as a whole... Love them all!!!! Even the noise does not bother me as it is uniform throughout. Maybe I'm not enough of a pixel peeper;I love the overall impact of this one!!!!

    It is a little noisy but it is still a gorgeous image. Quite lovely.

    Beautiful image Judy !!! Particularly like the pose and feel Sweet bg Some noise (not much) easy to remove but wait till you start using the D3 .... will be a thing of the past !!! Big Congrats !!! .... btw only wish for a slightly better light angle

    I remember when you went to the left after this beauty, ti was worth it, Judy, very nice :)

    Noise Ninja has a noise brush that you can apply to the background only :)

    The bird and perch are really nice. But this baby needs some noise removal in a major way ;)

    Very nice capture Judy. I like the soft warm tones throughout this image. Very pleasing.
