This is a scene on the way towards the East Gate of Yellowstone along the North Fork of the Shoshone River I captured last winter. Not much interest in the sky so I didn't include to much of it...

This has all the pre requisites Robert - The stream in the foreground leading the viewer into the scene then the middle ground and the mountains as a backdrop, all enhanced with a covering of snow!! Exposure spot on. Good move to minimize the naked sky!

I agree with John's assessment. The river as leading line balance the peak well too. I might crop more of the blue sky but it works quite well as presented.

    Beautiful place Robert, great composition!
I think that a polarizer filter would have improved de colours of the trees & sky...
    Best Regards.
