Great job, Pepe. Feather detail is amazing. I like the way you have used the lights to define the shape well. The highlight under the chin and on the belly really conveys the roundness well. Not much room for error working full frame this tight. A slight head turn toward the camera would be my only wish.

Pepe this one, is from my point of view, one of your best images. My jaw dropped when you showed to me this image, absolutely outstanding. The details are fantastic and the rendition of th efeathers in the wing is to die for. I agree about the head turn and it is obvious that the image is a bit tight in the frame but you can feel proud about this image. The flash set-up is very good and produced a SUPERB lighting. Very, very well done :eek::eek::)

Wonderful detail...we can even see the individual barbs in the open wing. You could try this set-up again with your gear backed up a bit to give extra room, but it could be difficult to repeat such a great pose. Another way would be to photograph the perch only. Same distance and settings but more of it at right...then extend canvas (BG should be easy) and carefully paste perch back in. Just an idea!

Hola Pepe, yo te voy a hablar en español, ya que de inglés ni papa.
Me parece un momento fantástico, con una iluminación de cine. Solo como te comentan algunos menos apretada y lo de la cara un pelin más girada hacia nosotros. Seguro que la tienes de dicha forma y si no la sacas.

Fabulous! A better head angle would have made this an even better photo. Other that that I would have prefered a bit more room on top, bottom and left.

The original image has not been replaced. It is full frame and untouched
