Ponce Deleon Park

Has anyone been to Ponce Deleon park in Punta Gorda? I was told you can see many birds there and there is a program there similar to CROW on Sanibel.

Hi John,

I live less then 1/2 m from Ponce Deleon park in Punta Gorda..

I don't know about a program...but there is the Peace River Nature Center...where they take care of injured birds.
For shooting ...It's hit or miss...it's best on windy stormy days!

I was there late afternoon yesterday and saw gulls.. brown pelicans..egrets. & GB..
