    From Mexico. I knew it was inside the palm at this hole and it was a waiting game. I also whistled his call and out he came, wanting to know who was that strange sounding male intruding on his territory.

    I'd be tempted to crop a bit from the left.

    Very nice photo. I like the composition and would keep the cropping just as is. Matter of preference I guess. I wish the tree provided a little more contrast against the bird, but sometimes things just are the way they are. Look at those talons!!!
