Heading For The Midwest

I'm leaving 11/3/08 for indianapolis, peoria, Saint Louis, Gentry Arkansas and Tulsa . Anybody know of things to photograph that I shoudn't pass up in those areas? Jim

This isn't a nature-related tip, but I had a great time photographing cars in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Also, decades ago, the view from inside the Gateway Arch at St. Louis was excellent. Best wishes,

You're a little too far south for me...I'm on the other side of Missouri and haven't been out that way for awhile. I do remember St. Louis having some nice views near the arch (as Stuart recommended) especially if you are there at night. If you're coming this way soon you should be here near peak leaf time. It's just now hitting us in Missouri.

If you have time in Indy, you should check out Eagle Creek Park. It is on the NW side at I-65 and 71st Street.
