I got an e-mail yesterday informing me two of my photos made it to the semi-finals in the NANPA Members Showcase competition. As this was my first entry I was happy.
I want to thank the people here for helping me become a better photographer. First I would like to thank Art for his critique of my photos at Bosque IPT last year. It got me to develop a more critical eye on my work. I’m still looking for that better butterfly. Thanks to all the people who post and critique here. Seeing the photos is great and reading what people think might help is thought provoking. Thanks to all and thanks for this forum.
Thanks to Ned Harris for helping me out at “the pond” where both photos were created. Also thanks to Bill Forbes owner of “the pond” for creating and offering a great place for bird photography.
