African Jacana L 28cm- rufous bird with extremely long toes and nails enabling it to walk over floating vegetation. Habitat - any body of water containing floating vegetation, also frequents flooded grasslands.

F/5.6 exp. time 1/640sec
Metering mode: Pattern exp comp. -.67step.

[This was taken at a local dam with a wretched rooster sitting on my back half the time while I was stalking the Jacana.( I can't kneel so was on my tummy!) - Tyson is posted on the "friends etc" ]
