Brrr - that's why I live in Florida! I like the soft curving lines and the insects frozen on the grass is very interesting. Maybe just a little crop from the top to bring the top of the grass just a bit higher in the frame?
Thanks very much for the suggestions Chris, Al, and Jim. Here's a revised comp/crop. Al, it is cold here, but when the sun comes out its pretty glorious.

Hi
The revised composition works much better than the original for my tastes as well
Having the stem area entering / exiting the frame via the corner, mostly just emphasizes the frame’s shape IMO, and often distracts from the subject material. So unless this aspect is used as a compositional device - it is normally best avoided.
Using the rules of thirds (or sixth‘s) would normally be a good starting place for determining entering / exit points within the frame.
Anyway regardless of compositional tastes this is nice looking shot, with a lovely backdrop to set off the subject
All the best
Matthew
Hey Terry, its always nice to see simple composition of simple subject. Frost adds a nice touch. Very nice job on the details while maintaining a soft BG. The crop on the second image works much better, and could go even a little tighter. Thanks for posting this and hope to see more of these intimate scenes.
