    Great specimens, John. I like this comp a lot. I'm a bit distracted by the fact that one of the antlers of the subject competes with one of the antlers in the BG deer. A bit of separation would have been better, IMO. It doesn't bother me that one of the two would have to be OOF, because of the limits the light placed on you.

    Regardless of which deer is in which position, with a little separation I'd have been more interested in seeing the bigger of the two deer (antler-wise) in focus. I do very much like the licking of the chops, however.

    The color also is quite out of whack. Very heavy purples and yellows.

    These are some fine looking bucks.. I agree with Steves' comments.. Overall I think the comp is a bit crowded..
