Import self portrait

I've made several attempts to place a self portrait in my profile. Even though the image size is well within the maximum limits I keep getting a message that my attempt has failed. Any ideas on whats happening here?

You may get the message and your file is showing, that happened to me. So upload it and co a post and check, it may be there :)
