I did a road trip around Lake Okeechobee last weekend. I didn't have a good light but there is plenty of action and very hot.... did I said HOT?? Snail Kites, Swallow Tailed Kites, Night Hawks, Sand Hill Cranes and more. I counted 32 different species!!
I certainly hear you Harold...it's quite slow over here. I've moved quite a bit toward landscape mode for the moment. These South Florida skies, lightning, and coasts provide some nice subject matter. On the bird front, a few migrants are starting to pour south (gnatcatchers, sandpipers, warblers, etc.) so the good days can't be too far off!
thanks judd!! i think i'm starting to see a little more activity. and when i say that, i mean one bird that i havent seen in a while. hopefully soon we can get some things rolling!!
thanks again. i'm leaving the mosquitos down south for you and paul!!!! you guys can have ENP for now!!!:D
