Default Arctic Fox kit; Eager for food

As said in my previous post I've had the opportunity to photograph at an arctic fox den for the 3rd year in a row now (I'm already looking forward to next summer). This den had 6 kits running around this year. Here you can see one of the parents bringing in some food (a goose liver) back to the den. Often the fox kits were already on the lookout for them to arrive.

For those that are intersted in Arctic Foxes, be sure to grab yourself a copy of the new BBC Wildlife Magazine (January issue, for sale from the 20th of December) for an Arctic Fox portfolio of Mireilla de la Lez and myself as the main feature.

Sweet interaction between these two, looks like the little one is working to keep up with Mom. I think the only minor nit for me here is maybe a catch light in the parents eye but probably not a good angle for one.

These are sure exciting images and the BBC magazine you mentioned above must rock!!!

    Such tender moment!
I would try and select the adult's eye and do a slight curve to bring it up.

    Very nice image, congratulations!

Another nice behavior capture. I like the motion, colors, and composition. Thanks for sharing.
