Super timing the raised foot and the eye intently searching for insects. I am guessing this was Salisbury plain somewhere? Details and colours look very good indeed - a most impressive capture.
Cheers Jon.
LOL Jon, I have had some phenomenal 'access passes' over the years, but the thought of shooting here with the possibility of a Challenger 3 baring down on me doesn't really appeal. You are about 4500 miles out.I am guessing this was Salisbury plain somewhere?
The feather detail in the whites in the hi res tiff is outstanding. Let me know if you ever plan to go down to Salisbury, but I'll skip the Cathedral for obvious reasons.
Cheers

Very nice Steve. Perfect detail on the bird and a lovely POV. The raised leg adds. Lovely colours throughout. It was Chieftain tanks when I done my time in the army
