    Hi Jon ... the Heron and the action is nice , love the mixed lighting in the underwing . Subject looks good in tone , color and details !!!
    Not a fan of your comp or crop ... what was the reason to keep it that way ??!! It would work for me if the BG would be nicer , but as presented it does not

    Hi Andreas, well this is what it was, I have cropped some off the top, I didn't want to crop much more in case I lost IQ... what up with the background... relatively smooth water and a couple of OOF ducks??

    Okidoki Jon ... the BG is quite dominant and boring at the same time with at least three elements which do not help or add , IMHO. The whole front and back is just one " boring color palette " .... I think if you shoot " small in the frame " the surroundings has to be somehow more attractive .
