Hi folks ... time for a Dipper
Image captured back in January when I had the chance to visit the location ... relatively close by .
This location is only interesting when the water level is low ... as only limited access at some point . When the water level is high the Dippers are out of reach for me , they do have an artificial nest to use .
I got lucky to get both in the frame ... the left one was ready to start with breeding behavior , so I think it should be the male . The " female " was not really impressed and not interested , think it was too early in the year .

Yes Andreas I agree with Jonathan a special one for sure. The birds both in the same plane and the rock has some interest with the lighter color on top. I also like the sheen and with water flowing on the left side. I like the male as your assuming a breeding stance. Nicely done pulled all the details out on this one. TFS
