    Colin, here's my quick version - most was done in ACR using masking to reduce the highlights in the bird and lift shadows slightly, I used generative refill on a couple of areas in the background

    Matter of taste , but that is very dark in the subject ... I do like the BG and the top leaf .
    Wonder what Colin is thinking ?

    Colin is thinking that the sunlight has gone, and that there is a blue cast on the greys, and that the striking red eye is also gone. But, thanks Jon for your interest
