Hi folks ... a rare and skittish visitor to my pop up feeding station in the wood .
Not sure if I am correct that this is the female ? Maybe an expert can proof my thoughts .

    Hope you like it

My guess would be female, there does not appear to be a slight yellow carpal patch and it has yellowish as opposed to grey cheeks. The bird is well shown on a clutter free background, details and colours look good - maybe just maybe a little too vibrant for a female? the flower heads and buds look very good too.

    Hi Andreas,
Irrespective of the gender, it is a very appealing image. Beautifully lit and processed, gorgeous details.
Twigs and flowers are very simple, but evoke the feeling of Spring.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Gerald
