Hi folks ... very different and unique option to get a BB in the tree , I was surprised when I saw this female climbing the tree to rest there for a short while . She was not fully sized or fully grown but already adult , just one of the younger Bears . The only Bear I have seen climbing so high up .
Image taken at the Kuril Lake at a river mouth ...

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

Another very different image, to me the fur looks a little refractile but I do like the image very much.

    Thanks Jon ... not sure what " refractile " means , maybe too " crunchy " ???
If you want to say that , I would partly agree ... I think with hindsight I should have kept the local contrast lower as I treated the head separately in parts .

    Cheers Andreasv
