    Not too sure if you will like it or nor not? Taken as the sun rose over the hill and rays of light glimpsed the subject.
    I reduced the blues and warmed up the lower part of the image, despite this some blue remained in the water, I think this helped convey the cold temperature, it had been freezing and was just beginning to thaw.

    I used DxO4 on this image and compared it to DxO3 - couldn't see any difference at all.

    The white balance looks good to me. It just looks really dark on my monitor.

    Sorry Jon ... this does not work for me !
    To me it does look like an unedited RAW file .
    I would say it is about a subject or a subject in setting in general what we are doing and we might try to bring both to shine , but you are trying to keep it natural with this one ( guessing ) .... but this is not grabbing my attention .

    Not sure if this image is a candidate for further processing , as the light and the shooting angle are not an easy thing to deal with .
