This youngster ,about 3 weeks aloft, had just had his dinner stolen by Dad and was following up but was new to the game which is to drop the carcase and be taught to catch it which this one did not. I was quite pleased with the decent varied sky for a change and I thought her rather 'ethereal 'position in the heavens. As it was about 50 yards away and therefore a 50% crop it seems to be sharp and clean through the DOF..I did not take off the remaining food round the beak as it reminds me of the shot but it could come off.

Looks good, exposure and colours look great. I downloaded the image and added a little Sharpening in ACR - it makes quite a difference WDYT?

Very nice Ian. Lovely detail you captured on the bird. You don't mention the SS, I agree with Jon, that a wee bit sharpening on the bird would enhance the image. nice colours throughout and pleasing to the eye.

Nice one Ian , if not very nice
All works for me here , when you sharpen it .
Love the mottled sky ... is so so much better than a plain blue one .
