Hi folks ... plenty to come
Feel free to break my bear mania .
IN this one I liked the running action and specially the large splash of water in combo with the lovely low shooting angle , that was actually only possible in one spot at the Kuril Lake .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 533 mm
    Tripod

    F 5,6 ; Iso 2000 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DT 4.6.1 and PSCC 2024 ; cropped for comp from top and LHS

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Hello Andreas,

Nothing wrong with your bear mania, delightful action shot, this is really special, enjoyed viewing.

Love the water splash and movement from the bear, colours look good, nice to see the eye and expression is great.

Framing is spot on, well captured and processed with nice detail. Took me 35 minutes to get to the image...very frustrating... but quite rewarding in the end, so thank you for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

You have set a very high standard, i t is a super shot but for some reason it does not grab my attention as much as the other images. I strongly suspect that if I had seen this image in first place I would have said what a super shot!

Thank you so much Gabriela and Jon for your kind comments , much appreciated .

@ Jon ... i do fully understand if you become tired , LOL , of my bear mania . The single image might be becoming slowly less interesting .... no wonder ... too many bear images . But I keep going ....

    Cheers Andreas
