... well folks , nobody else posting . So more Bear stuff
This guy was patiently waiting , in a rather awkward position , along the Kambalnaya River in strong hope for Salmon to pass by . Very close to the hut where we all were staying .
Original capture was completely flat and very " foggy " ... too boring for my taste ... so I ran truck loads of different layers across the image to create something I like .

    Canon EOS 1Dx
    EF 500 IS L II
    Tripod

    F 6,3 ; Iso 1600 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with DT 4.6.1 and PSCC 2024 ; added a Biot of canvas at top and RHS as the bear butt was too close to the edge

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

This is really nice, hmmm...maybe even nicer than the previous posts. Just love the pose, awesome. PP is great and subject has lots of detail, despite the fog. I do like the misty, foggy BG.

Colours also look good and nice to see some detail on those paws and claws. Super techs. On of your best frames in terms of content, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,

Thanx Gabriela , glad you like it .
Was a bit unsure if I should keep the flat greenish tint across the frame , but I thought it was that way caused by the dense greenery .

    Cheers Andreas

I think the greens work well in this case. It's all about how you remember the scene

Super shot Andreas your PS skills are impressive. The details on the rock and the bear are very good indeed. I like the foggy atmosphere you have retained. In terms of pose I think it is absolutely superb.
