    Nice shot, good detail but the bird is a little flat against the muted BG.

    Thanks Colin, I agree with your observation, I was in two minds about brightening it up, in the end I decided to reflect the conditions.

    Hi Jon ... your call , brightening does not help !!!
    Image is missing color and tonal range , as presented it does not work for me .... personal taste .
    Pose is nice and classy for a Nuthatch .
    What is the dead space above the bird good for ? Again your call
