Hi folks ... other Brownnock from the Swiss Alps
A rather hefty crop for my understanding , but I did like the movement of the bird ... so I gave the image a shot , regardlesss of potential IQ degrading
Let me know what you think .
Image is way warmer than the previous one , no wonder sun was shining ....

    Andreas:
The image quality held up pretty well. Like the sense of motion, flying snow. I might consider cropping a bit top and bottom, to play up the sense of horizontal movement. I am a bit biased however because of my waterfowl shooting. Nice color harmony between bird and grasses. Well exposed.

Nicely caught, the bird mid hop presents a slightly ungainly appearance, technically very good, visually perhaps not quite so appealing. Nothing "wrong" with the image but just a little - sort of "odd" moment in time.

I love the winter habitat, and the action captured here. Good whites and texture on the snow. I did two things on the repost which, IMO, improved the image - added canvas at right (and cropped at left), and did some eye work. Maybe not to everybody's post-processing ethics, but an option for those who are OK with that.
