A couple of days ago we got a break from the heavy rain, and even got some sunshine. I had a walk over to the harbour to photograph the Goldeneye. I liked the flight pose on this one, as it attempted to negotiate the high winds, coming into land. HH. ACR and PS

Definitely a unique one Will love the downward angle. Not something you often see. Details look good especially the whites as it looks quite bright out. Wing and tail position shows that struggle to land. Nice one TFS.

It's a belter! I like the action, the colours and light, I can't remember seeing a nice blue sky for some time - it's brightened my day! One of the best Goldeneye images I have seen.

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated.

Hi Stu. Good to hear from you. I hope all is well. Joanne will love it I'm sure. Pitlochry, beautiful area and a great place to live. She'll be chasing the Haggis over the hills in no time

Very nice. Generally not a fan of blue sky backgrounds, but this pose is so nice it's not a detriment.
