Hi folks ... trying to bring some life into the desert of the forum with my rather old file from 2018
Hope you like it and I did play around with Darktable as the raw converter

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 500 IS L II
    HH

    F5,6 ; Iso 3200 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DT 4.6 and PSCC 2024 ; slight crop a bit of clean up in FG/BG

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas,

A bit late here so my apologies, had some computer issues for a few days but happy to say they are now sorted.

Lovely capture, well exposed and processed. Composition looks good, colours/tones very pleasant. Nice image overall, good pose from the bear and I particularly like the 'waterfall' coming down from its fur

Don't know Darktable...nearly welcomed you to the 'dark side' but then I went and read your intro again Hope all is well on your side and you are getting out and about, thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Lovely processing and composition, as Gabriela mentioned the water droplets look super. The light on the eye bring the portrait of this handsome bear to the forefront.

Thanks Gabriela and Jon ... for your kind comments , much appreciated .

© Gabriela .... no no move to the dark side , just to the Table .... it is new stuff and can be very fiddly . Just starting to understand parts of the processing there .

    Cheers Andreas
