Hi folks ...
been today again at the Bullfinch location , changed my shooting options as now I am sitting in a portable hide ....
Plan was to get the Bulls in the rain , but they have not been so cooperative .... so I took the Tit .
The BF do have a lot of issues with the " finch foot " disease .... so they are not as attractive as a healthy one . There are around 8 to 10 Bulls visiting the feeder , and only 4 of them are looking well ! The others are having more or less issues with the feet and legs .
Have to try again with them in rain

The rain is nicely streaked and the droplets on the bird look good. Exposure is ideal, details excellent. The condition on the feet of the Bullfinches sounds like a pox virus it is probably transmitted to some extent by affected birds contaminating feeders. I clean and sterilise my feeders regularly, I presume this helps in containing the spread to some extent.
Very nice Andreas. Everything works well for me. The rain adds and I like the droplets on the birds head, and the wee blowy feather. Nice pose and HA. Colours look good and I like the perch.
