    Hi folks ...
just a shot in my parents garden , close to the feeder . Just placed a stick there , waited in my car for 2 hours and got rewarded with a couple of pleasing standard bird on a stick images .
I am pretty happy with it .

A pleasing portrait beautifully optimised, the colours and details are quite remarkable. The processing makes me think you practised the maxim "less is more" meaning the image was really well exposed so relatively little was needed to be done.
Nothing outstanding in terms of composition but a very good portrait of a once common bird in UK, I am guessing it is also less common now in Germany too?

Thanks Jon ... glad you like it . The capture was indeed quite well exposed ... no " trickery " or complex moves on the tonal / color front needed .

I like it as well. Obviously not as colourful as the male, but still a lovely looking bird. Great pose on the bird and a lovely 'eye catching' HA. Feather detail and colours look good. So your next task Andreas is to get the male and female on the same perch
