Ohlala Jon .... lovely and very cool capture !!!!
Super light , tones and colors ... perfect pose for me .
    Nicely processed .
Only the noise / grain in the wings is bothering me .... where does it come from ?? Hope you have not used the texture slider in ACR

    Love it and TFS Andreas

Thanks Andreas, no Texture used, maybe a little extra Denoise would remove it, I must admit I didn't really notice it.

Sorry Jon, it's not really grabbing me as there is too much OOF, but also it would be nice to see some shots in more 'natural' settings.

Saying that, I do like the 'ochre' backdrop which gives nice separation.

Why would DN remove it, it's not a noise issue, if indeed it's an issue? If you printed it I doubt you would see anything...

Thanks Steve, the DeNoise was just a suggestion that's all. The shallow DOF was intentional, I appreciate it would not appeal to everyone.

Jon, Just unless you understand the problem you can’t solve it.

So what was the rationale for the shallow DoF. Again, it’s just understanding your thinking for the capture.

I like shallow DOF it concentrates attention on the head, softer wing tips I think a more natural presentation. One cannot obviously recollect how sharp the wings were when seen but I bet they were'nt clearly delineated!
Regaring the problem I didn't see one, so you are quite right I cannot correct it.
