Hi folks ... happy new year to the whole community !!
May this be a good and fruitful year for all of us

IŽll start off with this standard shot of a Owlet from last year during one of my last sessions with them , they finally disappeared from that location .
I do like the upright pose ... checking out the photographer

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 560 mm
    Tripod

    F 4 / Iso 6400 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with C1 and PSCC 2024 ; cropped and canvas added to the top ..... basically full frame . Minor removal of distractions in the perch

Thanks for looking and commenting to my postings

    Cheers Andreas

Looks very good to me ANdreas, details and colours look ideal. The perch looks good, whatever you did I can't detect it.

Happy New Year Andreas!! I love it. Vertical was the obvious way to go. I actually like the displaced feather - adds to the quirky look. The WB could go redder, or more magenta, as it seems a bit cyan/green overall. Those eyes draw you right in....

Thanks Dan , glad you like it .... much appreciated .

Regarding the WB , I just checked it again .... and can't find a green cast . So I think it should be good , but for sure I can go more red/magenta as an alternative .... keep staying with my initial colors . Matter of color taste I would say

    Cheers Andreas
