I have been archiving and working on older files. I worked up this one again yesterday with the new tools in Lightroom. The image was captured at the Fire Bush in my backyard. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 25
Cropped after adding canvas to position the bird, large crop because of the small size of the bird

I really like how the colours on the bird blend with the BG. Lovely detail and enough blur to show the movement. I hear you Joe regarding the crop, but personally I would crop from the top and the LHS a wee bit.

Lovely little bird in a sweet background. Perhaps some detailed work on reducing the brightness on the top of the bill would bring it out more from the BG?

A nice attentive pose, especially with the exposed feet, but I think the bird gets lost in the wide crop because of lack of contrast. That the wings are blurred makes them blend in with the BG too much. I think a closer crop
will make the most of the subject as captured.
