    Default Giant Kingfisher (Kenya)

My tour floated up on this bird at Lake Naivasha just after it caught and beat this crayfish to death. The 600 was too
much and I didn't have access to my 100-400 at that moment; hence the headshot.

Wow! The details, colors, and IQ on this are just stunning. The juicy catch is cherry on top.
Would've loved to see this posted larger (1920px wide).

Beautiful shot of a difficult bird. I've never been able to get close enough to a Kingfisher where 500mm would be too much...

Very nice Dorian. Everything works well here. BG, Bird with prey, and nice colours throughout. I like the detail you got. Even managed the eye on the crayfish. Perfect HA. I may brighten the eye a wee bit.

Sweet. Having the prey item in focus is icing on the cake. No nits for me.

Great shot Dorian, everything about this is spot on. The crayfish did not have a chance.
