And another one from the set up. This time a daytime shot. There are lots of Reds at this location and no Greys. That's probably because of the Pine Marten. Apparently they are eating more Greys than Reds, which is good news. Gimbal head, ACR and PS.

Super capture Will, love the HA and bushy tail. Nice and sharp overall.

    My only thoughts would be:

    - Shadows/blacks slightly clipped in the perch
    - It needs a bit more content to the RHS and above
    - Personally you could up the Vibrancy and a hint of Saturation, but this is viewing on the MBP, so....
    - I would add a Graduate filter coming up from the foot of the crop
    - Those leaves at the foot aren't doing anything, so evict them.

Great to see the Reds, be nice later to get the ear tuffs. Good news re Pine marten, they are a real pain here stripping the bird food.

    Hi Will,

The Reds are always a winner! This looks great - nice pose and good choice of log/perch - love the texture in the fur - looks touchable!

I too would like a little more space on the RHS and above if you have it.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Gerald

I like everything about this. The greens balance well against the red, and the different shades of the squirrel's fur come through nicely. Plus, he looks nice and soft and not oversharpened. The stump provides nice lines to the photo. I agree that a little more room on the upper right hand corner would help.

Super cute Will, love it! Wonderful colours and sharpness is great, nice detail too, pose is superb.

BG looks very good, if this was mine I would remove the leaves on the lower LHS corner and allow for more space on the RHS ( if possible).
You must be delighted with this frame...I would Well processed with nice detail, great techs, such a pleasure to view

    Kind regards,
