    Default Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis)

    I was near the bush in the backyard waiting for a hummingbird. I noticed movement at the top of the bush, looking through the viewfinder I saw this Green Anole. Amazing, I never noticed how long the tail was until I had to fit it into a photograph. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    I love it Jo, the colours look great the Anole is shown clearly yet still in the vegetation - and yes the icing on the cake is that whe whole tail is there - but wait the throat pouch is extended....great stuff.

    Very pretty subject and so well camouflaged! Well captured, Jo! Nice colours too...Hard to fit that long tail in, LOL. Thank you so much for sharing
