    This juvenile White-bellied Sea eagle was captured recently at my local Osprey locality...plenty of osprey photos, but the eagles are less common there. Would have liked a better head angle.

    D500/500PF, 1/3200th sec@f5.6, iso1000, manual mode hh.

    Ah man, too bad the eagle is angling away. Looks like an impressive species - hope it gives you another pass soon.

    Hi Paul ... can only echo Dan here , albeit I am more flexible in terms of flight pose than i.e. Dan .
    But the subject is too much turned away , even for me
    Tell him to stop next time for a better posing ...

    From the thumb, I thought this was gonna be a killer topside shop coming right at you, but I agree with the others about the head angle. The patterning on the underwing is great regardless.
