From my session with the lorikeets a couple of days ago.
This is a Rainbow Lorikeet letting the Scaly-breasted Lorikeet know who's boss.
This was all over a recently opened Bangalow Palm inflorescence (to the left) that was crowded with Rainbows with Scalys trying to sneak in.
Canon EOS R5 EF 600 f4 III tripod

ACR & PS2023 NR Crop (near FF) White Balance Sharpen (double round of sharpen on the Scaly)
Heaps of cloning to get rid of some near BG twigs and leaves to isolate the action.
What an interaction! It's really cool to see the two species juxtaposed. Exposure, lighting, and detail all look great. You did well getting both faces in focus, but it would be nice to have more of the Scaly's body in focus.
Branch through that bird's head isn't ideal, but it's not a deal breaker here since the interaction, color, and BG are so good.
