Hi Steve a wonderfully processed image of this gorgeous Antelope , yeah that´s what they are doing ... head down and moving when being relaxed .
Apart from the bright strip at the top , which is not helping the image IMHO , i like all the color and tonal layers . Awesome fine details in the hide and do love all the different colors in the subject !!!!
I do not mind the " obscuring " grasses in front as most of the subject is clearly visible
Very well done in post

Thanks for the kind words Andreas, the old kit still comes up with the goods albeit the 200-400 has sadly gone.
Awesome fine details in the hide and do love all the different colors in the subject !!!!
Comes back to, if you apply any NR or if you do, it's applied manually and with a feather hand and not allowing Auto to take over the processing, as you know.
Apart from the bright strip at the top , which is not helping the image IMHO
I could tone it down, but are we getting away from how we perceived it and the camera recording the scene....? You missed the DB in that area!

Thank you Gabriela, they are awesome antelope and this guy must be around 6-7 based on the horns, probably a few hours prior to you joining us.

Beautifully processed , I can't help but think you worry too much about stray bits of grass - what's wrong with them - they were there and they are perfectly natural and might even be expected. I sense your images (baring in mind I have not been on line now for a couple of weeks) are looking a little more colourful, I am not suggesting too colourful, I rather like the colours as presented. From a perhaps unnecessarily critical standpoint it could be suggested that there is no engagement with the subject but of course that could be turned around by saying that your presence had no effect whatsoever upon the subject.

Indeed.
BTW it’s -1, dropping to -3 tonight, light snow falling in London, not sure I might drive back Tuesday, contrast to your weather.
