Super colours and details, a very nice shot. The positioning of the two heads is perhaps a little awkward i.e. pointing in almost diagonally opposite direction, I suppose ideally the chick would have ben looking up to the adult. I appreciate we get what we are given.
I think I would have been tempted to remove the pale green band on the RHS of the adult.

    Ramon:

    Great POV,colors, detail.
I get Jon's point about the birds looking in different directions, but I still find it a very effective image.
Where are you shooting these guys at? Don't need specifics, just general area.

    Cheers

Hi Ramon ... I would be very happy to have this image in my collection , might have processed it slightly punchier in the subjects .... just personal prefs .

super cute with the chick , low pov is so cool .

very well done from capture to finish and that old glass seem to work still fine

Great work, I love low POV shots across the water, and the closeness of the mum and chick makes for a pleasing composition

One of these years I'll make it down there to photograph these guys! I love the image. I'd personally prefer a 3:2 ratio, but still effective as is.

cute frame Ramon, love the low angle and the details. nice soft light. a touch lower head for the adult would have been even better

RR, I love everything about this and am fine with the head angles -- I see the adult bird as looking protectively to our right to safeguard the chick. If anything, you might wish to do some bill clean-p on the adult.
