Very nice Andreas, and pleasing to the eye.....It reminds me of the Bass Rock....I like how you got all the birds on the rock, facing in that direction...nice touch.....The bird in flight, looking down in the same direction, adds a lot..Lovely feather detail...The blues in the BG show the birds well....
I think this is the best gannet frame you've posted. The subject bird is doing something interesting, is well exposed, and is razor sharp and the other bird help to tell the colonial story. The lighting across the frame is awesome, and the red rock sets off the blue sky perfectly. It's a really memorable frame. Bravo!
Ditto all the positives above. I love the shadow of the incoming bird on one of the birds below.
