This butterfly was captured this week at our local Butterfly exhibit in Grand Rapids, MI. Runs for six weeks, with quite an assortment of butterflies that changes over the course of the show. No tripods, often quite busy, challenging lighting, but lots of fun. It had been cancelled the last two years.

Pleasing colours and composition, I can appr3ciate getting the optimal angle for this kind of image is not at all easy. Without stacking it would prove difficult to get optimum DOF, it looks pretty good as is but I feel ideally the left antenna would have been in better focus .
