Hi all. Out again for a bird walk when I saw more Dragonflies. Hope you like this one.

Thanks Jonathan. I actually started my photography life with macro around 2008. I have the Canon 100mm macro and the MPE65 lenses as well as the MT24EX twinlight. I took lots of insect images, including Dragonflies, (many much closer than those I've posted) but the flash from the twin light is quite harsh. I used the Stofen diffusers but they were not really effective in reducing the harsh light. Good point about the SH on the eye. Cheers.
Paul if you have a single gun, there is a bloke in Australia who makes very good flash diffusers for all sorts of cameras and lenses :- https://www.chrismcginnis.com/gear
