I quiet like it Jon, but personally I might have just put a spin on it and gone more ‘Autumnal’ to add some life, but that’s just my taste. Based on this and the previous posting I would look at some using some directional lighting and reflectors. Even going backlit, where for instance, the almost translucent mushrooms have this glow about them in a darkish light, (atmospheric), just a thought.

Thanks for commenting Steve. Reflectors are good idea, I often forget to take them, I sometimes use the light on my iPhone that can also be useful I'll try to remember flash and reflectors, I did consider small portable LED lights - seen them on Amazon but the cheap ones are not colour corrected or adjustable.
Do you mean daylight bulbs?
I'm just trying to think of some simple kit that is lightweight, but within half an hour or less in setting up and a few test shots, just really elevates the shot, but still maintaining the key idea and the basics for taking the shot in the first place.

I like the wet look. I could see more room to the right and the left.
