Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction
Small amount of canvas added on bottom and left sides for composition and presentation

Agree with the above comments. The beak shape looks odd though.
Hi Colin, thank you for viewing and commenting. Very observant to notice the beak. Not sure why but it is deformed. Here is a head on view that shows it better.

Yes to a good solid image. Funny how I have no good images of a species that is common almost everywhere.

Hi Joe ... a very fine and rock solid image .
Very nice PP work .... with lots of lovely fine details , a very good tonal range extracted .
The subject might be not the hottest ... but the pose and the clean BG are making it work .
