    a random frame I captured during an afternoon stroll. I liked the iridescent near wing


    shot with A1 and 200-600 at 600mm f/6.3 1/4000 sec ISO-800 handheld. processed with C1P. hope you like it

    What a beauty. I wish there were Stilts on my afternoon strolls. This is a stunning flight shot; no nits. (I'm a sucker for profiles, but I can just hear some of the HA wonks wishing for another 1/2 degree head turn.)

    Killer wing position. A later stroll might have produced sweeter light. I am fine with this head angle but would not mind a bit more head turn toward us.

    Very nice wing position and I am fine with the head angle. He really pops against the blue water BG.

    Great pic, always helps when you have a bird with striking proportions or features, which this bird has both
