Late sun just peeked from behind the clouds, Could have lowered ISO but loved the expression and pushed the trigger.

Hello David,It was like intraoral tomography. Clarity details are fine. the warmth of the sun can be felt. There is a problem with the color for me. As a fund.congratulations.

Love the details here David...the fluff in the beak and that tongue! Maybe brighten the BG a tad? but I'm fine as is. TFS

I like the frame very much, good detail throughout.
I feel the colours are a little awry - there appears to be a lot of magenta, perhaps more evident in the water.

David, the downward angle on this one is a little to steep for my liking. Composition works.

However, I will say the view of this wildly wrapped up tongue is interesting enough to give added value. Really cool timing!

FWIW, color seemed okay to me.

Thanks to all for always extremely valued feedback. And Brian, I had the same thought on the down angle. Was actually laying on the floor of the boardwalk with this guy further out and taking some horizontals with environment when he began walking towards me with pace. Just as I started to get up, he began this tongue twisting routine. Laid back down went vertical and the angle worked for the view of that tongue. So good to have you back and you and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.
    Peace,
    David

I kinda like this downward view, and especially the look down its bill and that gnarly tongue! There are two very faint "pointy" marks in front of the forehead that make me think there may have been some post-processing work done to the BG in that general area?

Man, the one piece of water lettuce was there but I got to go back and check. You pointed out my one cloning effort and I still can't see it. As usual the maestro sees all... Thanks for the always valued and learned from feedback.
